IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN) is a revolutionary machine making waves in the way mental health is being treated. In America, 1 in 5 adults live with mental health difficulties. Not only is this number staggering, it's only getting larger. This cutting-edge technology is a major step forward against the monster that is mental health.
The power of IASIS MCN works by targeting the brain. The brain is the control unit of the body executing around 100 BILLION operations per second. Now imagine if just one area of the brain wasn't functioning right. How many operations would that affect? How about two areas of the brain? If our brain is functioning improperly this can lead to significant problems. IASIS MCN works to rectify this by bathing the brain in microcurrent amounts of stimulation. About Our Organization
Welcome to Enlightened Me, a Houston-based non-profit dedicated to illuminating the paths toward mental and physical well-being. As the longest established IASIS MCN provider in Houston, we are experienced with giving individuals the best care they deserve. We are powered by Matthew's Hope Foundation which was born from the loss of our founder's son to opiate addiction. Inspired by the transformative impact of IASIS MCN on individuals, Enlightened Me emerged—a beacon of holistic care and support. Today, we extend a compassionate hand, offering IASIS MCN, Peer Support, and Counseling services to guide individuals on their healing journey towards comprehensive wellness.
How Does IASIS MCN Work?
IASIS works through an electrical communication between the machine and your brain. The machine is able to get a reading of your brain's EEG. The EEG is a representation of your brain's electrical activity. The machine is able to couple an offset frequency with the EEG and send it back to your brain. Your brain is then able to "see a picture of itself". Once your brain knows how it is functioning, it can begin to heal itself. As the brain begins to heal, so does the body.
What Are the Benefits of IASIS MCN?
IASIS MCN has been shown to spark big changes in the lives of those who receive treatment. This technology can increase both neurogenesis and neuroplasticity. Neurogenesis is your brain's ability to generate new neuronal cells. Neuroplasticity is your brains ability to create new connections between existing neurons. Many individuals living with mental or physical health difficulties tend to find themselves stuck in a "fight or flight" state. This is due to overactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. IASIS MCN can shift the nervous system from this "fight or flight" sympathetic state to a more parasympathetic state known as the "rest and relax" side of the nervous system. As we live life, toxins and wastes accumulate in our brains. The brain collects around three pounds of waste every year! This is due to metabolic wastes, infections, or improper functioning. This waste accumulation can lead to difficulties with brain processing. IASIS MCN can help improve your brain's efficiency at removing wastes.
